Basically it’s a forum where you the musician/singer can come and play/sing songs to a live audience, without having to buy all the equipment, learn 1 hours worth of songs, recruit 4 other mates & a drummer to back you before you ask the landlord for a gig!

It’s essentially an unplugged night with quality PA provided, so you can be heard but no big amp rigs or backing tracks.
If you’re a singer but don’t play there may be a guitarist who knows how to play your songs or if you play but don’t sing somebody may sing for you…..

All styles of music are welcome, if you can play you’ll be appreciated. Ok, so a lot of what you get is singer/guitarist stuff but we have folk musicians, Irish, unaccompanied singers, rock, blues, Beatles ,Greenday, stand up comedy, performance poets.
If it entertains people we’ll do it!

Unlike many singers nights, at this one there is an audience! so bear that in mind if you plan to do a ten minute 11/8 jazz fusion solo on comb & paper, it may not endear you to the crowd!

It’s a great way to try out new songs and meet other muso’s (several bands have formed from playing at these nights)

Come down and check it out & bring your mates with you its so much better playing to a crowd.
